Cervicogenic headaches are caused by musculoskeletal deficiencies in the spine and shoulder girdle. In addition to headaches, patients often experience loss of cervical range of motion and neck or shoulder pain. Our headache program includes a comprehensive evaluation of your musculoskeletal system and addresses the impairments that are the root causes of the headaches. Treatment may include manual therapy, targeted strengthening & stretching exercises, neuromuscular re-education and patient education.
